No, that take is flawless. I like Chicago style “pizza”, but it ain’t pizza, and it sure ain’t better than anything NYC has to offer. Keep in mind every burrough in NYC has their own pizza culture, and every joint has their own style. But they’re all better than deep dish, which is a casserole.
“Sex with a corpse made of sandpaper,” is a little harsh, but New Yorkers don’t fuck around about pizza.

Chicago’s pizza culture is every bit as varied - the Takeout article from late October is quite accurate.
